In addition to my 8-week MBSR courses, I also offer one-to-one courses for individuals looking for a more tailored personalised approach.
Still following the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course framework, I will work with you in a one-to-one environment (either online or in person) to tailor the course specifically to meet your individual needs. After an initial consultation I will structure each session to focus on specific areas such as stress management, chronic pain, anxiety or perhaps you wish to develop your personal tool-kit to live a more connected, grounded and balanced life that Mindfulness both formally and informally can unlock.
About the Sessions
Sessions are an hour long over an 8-week period.
Through an initial introductory consultation, I will outline the various modules and approaches, which I will take you through to enable you to benefit from participating in the MBSR program. If after this consultation we both agree that the course would benefit you, you would be required to commit to a further eight weekly hour sessions.
As part of the course, you will receive a course manual containing the breakdown of each weekly session, along with written exercises, Mindfulness theory and resources to enable you to keep track of your Mindfulness journey.
After each session you will have access to guided meditations to support your home practice, as well as my support should you have any questions or concerns between each session.
To appreciate the benefits of the MBSR course, it is a requirement that you practice daily for up to 30 minutes per day and keep a journal to record and reflect on how your Mindfulness journey is progressing; this will include any hurdles and concerns you may be experiencing, which can be discussed and investigated together with time set aside each week.
